Being a Pescatarian and on the keto diet, I found ghee to be an invaluable addition to my cooking and baking pantry. Not only does it have a high smoke point, but it has a rich, buttery flavor that adds so much fat and depth to recipes. It adds that missing thing to vegetarian recipes that I thought only meat could add.

I highly recommend getting some ghee, especially if you are a vegetarian. Adding it to meat alternatives seriously ramps up the flavor and that fatty richness which is missing from most meat substitutes.

WHY I RECOMMEND THIS

Ghee has become a staple in my pantry because adding it to meatless recipes takes the place of the fatty richness that meat imparts. I highly recommend getting some. The added bonus is that it has a high smoke point.

Tbis ghee oil blend is an all-natural blend of ghee butter, olive oil, and avocado oil with no artificial ingredients or preservatives added. This combination allows a blend of different healthy fats such as omega fatty acids, monosaturated fats, and oleic acid. Our 100% natural spray is a great healthy alternative for any cooking oil or dressing.

WHY I RECOMMEND THIS

As I said above, I had some reservations about switching to sugar alternatives. In the beginning of my Keto journey I went without sweeteners for a while and just did without the taste of sweet. But little by little I started branching out in my cooking and eating and experimenting with baking and learning how to alter recipes to make them Keto-friendly... enter Lakanto's Monkfruit Sweetener. Out of all the sweeteners that I have tried this is what has become my personal choice for a white sugar replacement. I use it in almost all recipes calling for white sugar and have it in my coffee every morning.

I love that it is a natural alternative to sugar. The monkfruit, or luo han guo, was discovered in China over 1,000 years ago by the Luo Han monks. It was believed to be the secret to longevity, named "the immortals fruit". Lakanto's monkfruit sweetener looks like, measures like, and acts just like sugar. The best part? It has no calories and no carbs! I sometimes wonder how much healthier everyone would be if they switched to this instead of sugar.

WHY I RECOMMEND THIS

I use this sugar replacement in virtually everything that calls for white sugar. There are some instances where other replacements may act better, ice cream and frozen recipes for example. But for a go-to everyday white sugar this wins for me.
